WOVEN NETWORK

About Woven Network

Woven Network is an initiative by textile designer and educator Tiffany Loy, that aims to connect passionate designers with textile makers.

The artisan collaborator, Color Silk, is a Cambodian social enterprise that provides women in poverty with safe and permanent jobs, by teaching them hand-weaving skills, and commissioning them to create fabrics for international clients.

The aim of the project is to connect these Cambodian weavers with Singaporean architects and interior designers, to explore opportunities for bespoke textiles in interior projects. While the weavers expand their client base, the designers develop new capabilities in textile design.

Contributing design studios include: Goy Architects, Pi Architects, and Wynk Collaborative.
