Singapore Interior Design Festival (SIDFest)
Organised by the Society of Interior Designers, Singapore, SIDFest is an annual celebration of all things interior design. The festival consists of insightful sharing, inspirational showcases, showroom tours, and meaningful community-centred activities for the professional and public.
This year’s SIDFest theme, “Love for Design, Embracing Sustainability”, reflects the idea that design is not just about aesthetics and functionality but also about creating spaces that evoke positive emotions and experiences.
Love and passion are crucial components of design, and designers can channel that passion towards creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible. By promoting sustainability through design, we can make a positive impact on the environment and create spaces that inspire people to live more sustainably.
Designers have the power to influence how people interact with their environment, and by designing spaces that prioritise well-being, comfort, and functionality, we can improve people’s quality of life.
Overall, the theme of “Love for Design” highlights the importance of designing spaces that reflect our values, passions, and aspirations. By creating spaces that embody love and sustainability, we can promote positive change and inspire others to do the same.
