ABOUT
Designing For Tomorrow, Today: The Grab Way
You’re invited to a behind-the-scenes look at how Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading superapp, balances human-centred product design and emerging technology to deliver on their mission: driving Southeast Asia forward by creating economic empowerment for everyone.
Join in for a series of four engaging talks, as Grab’s product design team shares how they’re redefining the rules of engagement with intelligent technology. Learn how their designers are leveraging AI to enhance and build services that have become a way of life for millions across the region. Explore how the team leveraged Grab’s patented award-winning camera mapping tools to give communities better access to navigation and everyday services, both in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. You’ll also hear how deep user insights powered the development of Group Order, the food ordering experience designed to make ordering together fun and effortless.
In an accompanying exhibition, get up close with Grab’s AI-powered KartaCam 2, winner of the 2024 Red Dot Design Award. Journey through KartaCam’s evolution from concept to reality, and get a rare look into how it powers not only Grab’s customer app, but the lesser-seen driver and merchant apps as well. Whether you’re a mapping enthusiast or simply curious about the other dimensions of the Grab experience, you won’t want to miss this.
