In the face of pandemics and economic and environmental crises, “Design Our Way Out of Dystopian Futures” encourages participants to collaborate to design practical and ethical solutions inspired by worst-case scenarios.
Join the workshop to find out how you can adopt a multidisciplinary approach to create thought-provoking experiences and prompt conversations on how to deal with it. It is NOT about doom and gloom but an opportunity to design sustainable and impactful solutions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Design Community – Learn and apply futures-thinking tools to design resilient solutions to counteract dystopian future scenarios.
Public Sector – Learn how to anticipate and respond to future challenges in a way that benefits society.
Students and General Public – Understand the concept of designing our way out of dystopian futures and appreciate the skills required.
FACILITATOR
Katja Forbes is a seasoned leader in the digital industry with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. As an expert in areas such as CX, UX, data science, and product design, as well as emerging technology, she is a highly sought-after keynote speaker.
Currently, as Head of Client Experience at Standard Chartered bank, she leads a team to create high-impact products and services that promote financial inclusion and contribute to a net-zero carbon future.
