Harvesting Food + Fun in Singapore

ABOUT

Landscape Architecture on the Long Island.

The Long Island Speculative Design Studio envisages the future of the Long Island in Singapore, with an aim to establish a sustainable and resilient lifestyle model, promoting food security and mitigating the impacts of sea-level rise. This is achieved by integrating urban subsistence farming practices along the shoreline of the area.

Students from the Bachelor and Master of Landscape Architecture programmes in the National University of Singapore share their unique takes on the development of this exciting new space, going beyond functionality and aesthetics to create truly unique experiences for this very special site.
