Singdes Thaicra is a collaboration between Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore (NP) and King Mongkut’s University Technology Thonburi, Thailand (KMUTT) that brings together the design aesthetics of Singapore with the rich, time-honored craftsmanship of Thailand.
This collection features a range of meticulously crafted leather works by final year students from Diploma in Design (DES), Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The works symbolize the value of design and cultural exchange between Singapore and Thailand, offering a new perspective on how traditional craftsmanship can evolve and thrive in a modern world.
Singdes Thaicra invites visitors to experience the harmony between form and function, beauty and versatility, design and craftsmanship.
