ABOUT
Organised by Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS), the SID Convention is an annual flagship conference, held in conjunction with the annual SIDFest, which serves as a premier platform for delegates to discuss spatial and interior design.
This year’s SIDFest theme —“DESIGN UNBOUND” advocates for a boundary-defying approach to design, urging the design community to break free from conventional constraints and explore new ideas, technologies and methodologies. It celebrates design’s fluid and ever evolving nature, responding to societal shifts, technological advancements, and cultural changes.
SIDFest 2024 will run from 23 Sept – 12 Oct 2024 at various locations across Singapore, which features 4 symposiums, 3 after-parties, and a 4D3N Design Exchange Expedition (DEX) to Jakarta, Indonesia.
Coinciding with FIND – Design Fair Asia 2024, the SID Convention will explore how global design trends and cultural influences are being adapted and reinterpreted in local contexts, resulting in interior spaces that are both globally inspired and uniquely local.
