ABOUT

Lines of Influence brings together over 30 of Singapore’s most respected designers and illustrators in a powerful expression of creative generosity, intergenerational dialogue, and community spirit. The exhibition explores the lines that connect practitioners across time and discipline—lines of influence that carry ideas, values, and encouragement forward.

Curated by Kiat (Jonathan Nah) and presented at Art Outreach, the exhibition marks the launch of the JYP Creative Legacy Fund, established in memory of JunYang Pow, a young designer whose final wish was to support emerging creatives. The fund provides seed funding and a professional platform for early-career designers and illustrators to stage exhibitions and creative projects, creating new avenues for visibility, experimentation, and growth. The exhibition celebrates the role of mentorship and support in shaping the design landscape.

Through the participating works and related public programmes—talks, tours, and community dialogues—Lines of Influence affirms that generosity and knowledge-sharing are essential to the long-term health of the design ecosystem. It is not just a tribute to one designer’s legacy, but a living statement of care for the future.
