ABOUT
What do we do with the challenging, dynamic and interconnected nature of many issues that designers and leaders are faced with? Through their two experiential programmes this SDW 2024, Studio Dojo is exploring these perspectives:
(1) Behind the Veil of Transdisciplinary Design
What does it mean to integrate the 4 disciplines of Design Thinking, Futures Thinking, Organisation Development and Leadership Development, when each of them takes a lifetime and more to learn?
For the very first time, Studio Dojo will take visitors on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour into what goes on behind closed doors. In this half-day session, participants will experience interactive activities, hear project stories and connect with like-minded and like-hearted people over food and drinks.
(2) Design Without Losing Your Soul
Designing with and for other humans is at the core of effective design leadership. For designers, strategists, consultants and creatives, it requires a deep commitment to empathy, collaboration, and inclusivity.
By prioritising these values in the design process, more meaningful and impact outcomes can be created, truly making a difference in the lives of the users and those involved in creating them.
In this 1-day workshop, Studio Dojo offers a deep dive for participants to understand and apply effective design leadership principles, understanding team needs and behaviours, and the use of skilful conversations that evoke and provoke change.
