Design Crawl – SG Mark Winners Sharing
DBCS will be featuring three SG Mark 2023 Winners to share on success stories and their projects in areas of sustainability, digital and caring future, followed by a panel discussion and networking session.
Project Commune by Agency
Project Commune, in collaboration with Dormitory Association of Singapore (DASL), is reshaping local migrant workers’ living spaces. Utilising visual communication and 3D models, the project crafts a home away from home that explores room layouts and prototype concepts, culminating in handbooks for future dormitory design and management. These guidelines foster positive community behaviours in migrant worker dormitories, transforming lives one room at a time.
Christmas with our Trees by Outeredit for Millenia Walk
Crafted from 800 upcycled wooden stools or ‘seeds’, the eco-masterpiece Christmas With Our Trees celebrates festive seasons with a more mindful and sustainable approach. The audience is guided through a series of installations that showcases the versatility of the ‘seeds’. The ‘seeds’ will then be repurposed for the Lunar New Year and eventually finding new homes across Singapore, ensuring a merry and green environment.
SNACK by Income
SNACK by Income is a financial lifestyle app offering bite-sized insurance and investment contributions for users seeking affordable alternatives. It educates users on financial stability through an accessible, low-cost approach. By eliminating paperwork and partnering with ethical brands, the app promotes sustainability and streamlines the insurance experience with digital-first solutions.
The SG Mark Exhibition will be at Millenia Walk from 21 Sep 2023 – 1 Oct 2023, and at the library@orchard window display from 4 Sep 2023 – 1 Oct 2023.
