About Art+Design Showcase @SUSS

Art+Design Showcase is an annual showcase organised by Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), featuring a curated series of exciting works by students from the Arts Education and Digital Media programmes. Explore an exhibition celebrating the stories, hopes and dreams of our students, through visual storytelling using diverse forms of media to evoke emotions and inspire creative efforts. Do join us and let our content creators take you on this visual feast to discover the power of visual storytelling with digital images, digital animations and VR 360-degree short films.  The exhibitions are as follows: 

•          Embracing Ageing and the Passage of Time 

This mini display showcase a few works by past students on the process of ageing. Through the exhibits, we explore and re-define ageing through a series of video clips or animated GIFs.  

•          Shared Living Spaces on Moon 

This display showcase students’ digital animation work on the design of Lunar Research Habitat & Operation Base (LRHOB) which aims to provide inspirations on shared living spaces on moon.   

•          Immersive VR Short Films Showcase 

This is a selection of immersive cinematic VR 360-degree short films.  In the VR Filmmaking course, students explore the VR storytelling techniques of immersion, embodiment and presence to create their own immersive films.
