ABOUT
How might we radically reduce waste while reimagining our systems to be restorative, inclusive, and resilient?
In a city where land scarcity, resource efficiency, and sustainability are national imperatives, the Future of Making invites audiences to reimagine Singapore’s relationship with materials as a catalyst for transformation – locally attuned, culturally grounded, and materially intelligent.
Hosted at Arup’s office in Singapore, this panel discussion and interactive exhibition bring together global expertise and local insight to envision futures where materials are continuously revalued, and where creativity and care shape the systems we design, build, and inhabit.
From bio-based inks to closed-loop glazing systems, this session will showcase pioneering practices and challenge us to rethink how we make, unmake, and remake our built environment.
About Future of Making
Future of Making is Arup’s global initiative exploring how we design and build in ways that are regenerative, inclusive, and materially intelligent. Through design and storytelling, it provokes new questions about the systems that shape our built environment.
