ABOUT

This intimate sharing session brings together young designers from across the globe to reflect on their recent participation at Milan Design Week 2025, offering personal insights into the trends, conversations, and practices emerging in design today.

Framed by the themes of resourcefulness and intention, the conversation reflects on how emerging designers are navigating today’s landscape, often with limited resources but a strong sense of purpose. Working with what’s readily available, embracing constraints, and designing with honesty, they are finding new ways to create meaning and impact. These values offer a lens to understand how emerging practices are quietly reshaping the way we think about materials, processes, and relevance in contemporary design.

Joining Emeline Ong are two international design studios: M&T Design (Japan), whose approach is defined by a meticulous examination of essence — balancing presence and purpose across works ranging from furniture to installations, and Bundle Studio (Denmark), known for pushing the boundaries of sustainable materials to provoke thoughtful change within the industry. The conversation will be guided by a moderator who will help draw connections between the different voices and perspectives.

Through shared reflections and open dialogue, this session offers a rare glimpse into the evolving values and inner workings of today’s emerging talents, and how they are quietly shaping tomorrow’s design culture.
